gonzobreakfast: Going in, I knew Bane was going to break Batman. It was inevitable and I was really looking forward to it… but the actual fight scene really bummed me out. I love Batman, I have my entire life. Seeing him being beaten so savagely at his own game was very upsetting for me. My heart was pounding and I wanted to cry haha. I kept thinking “please stop, that’s my hero!” It was akin to seeing your dad get beat up (provided you look up to him).
